Information for Parents

Please find below important information for all parents regarding how our school is operating this year and some guidance from the local Public Health Team on Covid-19 and common cold symptoms and a simple guide on what to do if your child does have Covid-19 symptoms.

Updated information - 17th May 2021

Following updated government guidance, from Monday May 17th, students will no longer need to wear face coverings either in lessons or in communal areas. If they still wish to then they will be allowed to do so. They must continue to wear them on public transport, including the scholars’ bus, unless they are exempt in which case they should still carry their lanyard.

It is important to remember the other existing control measures including good ventilation, handwashing, social distancing where possible and twice weekly testing remain hugely important to stop the spread of COVID-19. It is vital that students continue to test twice weekly in order to identify asymptomatic cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and prevent the spread of the virus.

We will be keeping the other measures in place such as sanitising hands at the start and end of each lesson, our one way system, and staggered starts, ends, breaks and lunches.
