Apprentice Teaching Assistant

National apprentice wage

37 hours per week (8.00am – 4.00pm, 3.30pm on Friday)

193 day term time only contract (working 190 teaching days, 3 training days)

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice. We have 2 roles available. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing inclusive support to all pupils, including those with additional learning needs, ensuring all children have equal access to education and opportunities for success. If you are a committed, enthusiastic person with a passion for secondary education, we would welcome your application.

Exam Invigilators

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and over-subscribed school.  Our school has a really positive ethos, with very strong pastoral and academic guidance and a real emphasis on learning in everything we do.  We believe the support, care and welfare of our students is second to none and we are a school which puts the students at the very centre of all that it does.

 

We are looking for reliable and flexible exam invigilators to join our existing friendly team. You will be enthusiastic with effective communication skills and the ability to be a confident and reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms. This is a casual post based around the school's examination schedules. Applicants must be available to work during May and June 2024.

The person appointed will be responsible, under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher, for the care and welfare of children, particularly in relation to student supervision and behaviour over the lunch time period and to ensure that problems are resolved or referred to an appropriate level.
