George Stephenson High School students celebrate the school’s best ever A-Level results.

Congratulations to all of our Year 13 Students. Our pass rate at A Level this year is 100% with 48% of all grades at A* to B and 70% at A*-C. Our Average Points Score per entry is the best the school has ever achieved. We are delighted with the A-Level results again this year. They are a testament to the hard work from our students and teaching staff. They have worked very hard and deserve these excellent grades. We had six students that achieved A*/A grades across the board – including twins who achieved 5 A*s and 1 A between them - Peter Anderson achieved two A*s and an A, and is going to Cambridge to read Chemical Engineering. Richard Anderson achieved three A*s and is going to Warwick to read Maths. The vast majority of our students are now going to go on to their first or second choice university place and we would like to wish them every success in the future.
