This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and over-subscribed school. Our school has a really positive ethos, with very strong pastoral and academic guidance and a real emphasis on learning in everything we do. We believe the support, care and welfare of our students is second to none and we are a school which puts the students at the very centre of all that it does.

We are looking for a skilled and confident person to join us in September 2022. If you are enthusiastic, positive and committed, we would like to hear from you.
Based in our library, you will not only perform the duties of a librarian and constantly be interacting with our pupils, you will also support and promote a love of reading and assist with reading interventions.
You will promote use of the library by establishing close links with all facilities in the school and by developing relationships with external organisations and visitors.
Specific details regarding the role and skills and qualities that the successful candidate will need to demonstrate are in the attached job description and person specification. We are looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about reading/literacy and supporting children in developing their knowledge and skills.
• Is committed to personal development and open to sharing ideas and continuing to develop their own practice.
• Is determined to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
• Is supportive of our inclusive and diverse nature as a school where differences are celebrated.
