Working in Partnership with the Community

George Stephenson High School is now a specialist HUMANITIES college focusing on improving the skills of reading, writing and researching so that students may become more confident, independent learners. The facilities for learning are excellent and available to students before, during and after school hours. Students can also take advantage of the huge range of extra curricular and study support activities on offer each day. Our sporting facilities are to be upgraded by the end of 2006 and a new Sports Centre is planned to open on the site by 2007.
