Ofsted's Views of the School

Ofsted's Views of the School

When we were last inspected by Ofsted in February 2008 we were labelled "a good school" where "teachers and students are exceptionally well focused on learning". In October 2010 a Local Authority Whole School Review found us to be a "good school with outstanding features" that has undergone "significant transformation" and that our capacity for sustained and further improvement was very strong. It said "staff show high levels of loyalty, commitment and pride in the school. Morale is high and is evident in the positive attitudes and relationships among staff and pupils". Ofsted undertook an Interim Assessment in March 2011 that indicated that "performance has been sustained and we can defer the school's next inspection". The next inspection will not now take place any earlier than the summer term of 2012.
