The George Stephenson Dining Experience

There are now exciting new menus, changed on a regular basis, a greater range of options including a selection of hot meals, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, chilled drinks and fruit. There is also a new pricing structure, which is simpler and more affordable for students, and new seating areas so that students may enjoy their lunch break with their friends.

Students now have the choice of having their break and/or lunch in the dining hall, Giorgio's Cafe or the Detroit Diner. Giorgio's Cafe and the Detroit Diner are proving really popular with students. The whole school dining experience has dramatically improved and will continue to do so.

All students, apart from the Sixth Form, now stay on site for lunch. We have taken this decision in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our students and to respect the wishes of our parents and the community.
